What We Do

Disposal of a billion tonnes of recyclable waste which if not managed can be a climate calamity.

Some Facts:

  •  Annual Agro Waste in India is about 400 Million Tonnes growing with a CAGR of 8%. if used constructively can reduce substantial fuel requirements as well as import requirements
  • India has the largest cattle population in the world both domesticated and in animal shelters. India alone has more than 300 million cattle which is more than 30% of the world share. Their waste needs disposal. Volume of this waste ranges between 400-500 Million Tonnes annually.
  • Annually about 65 million tonnes of MSW is generated in India and this number is projected to increase to 135 million tonnes in next 10 years.
  • Government is promoting BioCNG under SATAT scheme by setting up 5000 CBG units across the country. Combined they will be producing about 90 Million Tonnes of BioMass annually, which can be used in agriculture for retaining the nutrition quality of soil. With some amendments it can be used as Briquette for burning in the industry as well.
  • India produces about 20% of the world’s sugarcane with more than 400 Million Tonnes production. With even 40% net waste generated after processing we are talking about 160 million tonnes of sugarcane waste annually which can be utilized in so many way
  • Pollution & CO2 Emissions are major problems being faced by mankind.
  • Sewage Overflow is a common problem across all Indian cities, because of multiple reasons including disposal of dung in sewers
  • Ever increasing size of landfills in the country are big source of emission of dangerous gases into the environment.

This huge quantity of waste can be an asset if recycled. Need of the hour is solid waste management. We are converting any kind of compostable waste to soil nutrition and biofuel through the process of composting, vermicomposting and pyrolysis (gentle carbonization)
